Watch the WindPaddle "Adventure" sail rigged and sailed on a canoe.

Downwind Sailing I (00:45 min.)

Here is a short video shot in about 14 knots of wind. The sail is being
deck launched and flown with the wind coming from over the
kayaker's right shoulder.

Towards the end of the video the sailor tries to reach hard to
starboard (right) and luffs the sail as he sails to within
90 degrees of the wind direction.
